“Where are we going?”
“At the airport, we’re going to take a flight to Paris. Happy birthday!”
And so it is how our escape to Paris begun. 24 hours in the Ville Lumière, our favorite city in a late summer sun.
We chose to spend the morning walking along the Champs-Elysees, through Place de la Concorde, off to Louvre Museum, with its romantic and perfect gardens.
Walking along the Seine we tasted Paris in all its splendor. We breathe through the booksellers stalls arranged along the banks, where they’ve been exposing for four hundred years lot of collections of rare books, prints, newspapers and postcards.
Crossing Pont Alexandre III with its golden statues, we moved along the river to the Trocadero, where the best view to the undisputed symbol of Paris waits for you: the Eiffel Tower, of course.
And every time we meet her it’s like a first date kiss.

“Dove stiamo andando?”
“In aeroporto. Abbiamo un aereo per Parigi. Buon Compleanno!”
E così è cominciata la nostra fuga a Parigi. 24 ore nella Ville Lumière, la nostra città preferita, illuminata da un sole di fine estate.
Abbiamo scelto di iniziare la giornata lungo Champs-Elysées, passando per Place de la Concorde fino al Musée du Louvre, attraversando i suoi romantici giardini curati alla perfezione.
Camminando lungo la Senna abbiamo assaporato Parigi in tutto il suo splendore. Respirando tra le bancarelle dei librai disposte lungo gli argini, dove vengono esposti da ormai quattrocento anni libri rari, stampe, giornali e cartoline di ogni tipo.
Attraversando il Pont Alexandre III con le sue statue dorate, abbiamo proseguito lungo il fiume fino al Trocadero dal quale si ammira il simbolo indiscusso di Parigi: la Tour Eiffel.
E ogni volta che la vediamo, è sempre come un primo bacio.

We spent the afternoon in Montmartre, between uphill and downhill streets, full of all kinds of shops. This place always shows us new corners to explore. An advice? Let your eyes decide where to go. A lot of hidden romantic gardens are waiting for you.
We’re madly in love with this city, with all its nuances, romance and elegance.
Best birthday ever. Ever.

Il pomeriggio lo abbiamo trascorso nel quartiere di Montmartre, tra i sali e scendi delle vie costellate di botteghe di ogni tipo. Questo posto non finirà mai di regalarci angoli nuovi da esplorare. Un consiglio? Lasciate siano i vostri occhi a guidarvi. Romantici giardini nascosti vi aspettano.
Amiamo follemente questa città per ogni sua sfumatura, per tutto il suo romanticismo e la sua eleganza.
E questo è stato il più bel regalo di compleanno di sempre.

Me encanta como manipulan y sacan lo mejor de cada ciudad, sea en sitios secretos, sea en los mejores espectáculos. Ustedes me inspiran a ir con mi amor allí, cuando tengamos plata y muuuchas ganas de unirnos alli.
París es una ciudad para ser visto más de una vez, para explorar y disfrutar.
