Plataran Borobudur Resort and Spa

Se il tempio di Borobudur ci ha lasciato senza parole per la bellezza del paesaggio, il Plataran Resort ci ha letteralmente stesi.

Arriviamo al resort di mattina, le porte dell’ascensore si aprono verso la lobby e la vista del tempio esattamente di fronte a noi è difficile da spiegare anche tramite le immagini ragazzi.

Una distesa infinita di giungla e in fondo, sulla cima della collina, Borobudur in tutta la sua bellezza. Plataran Resort ti amiamo già.

The temple of Borobudur has left us speechless with the beauty of its landscape, but we have to admit that the Plataran Resort has literally conquest us.

We arrive at the resort in the morning, the elevator doors open up to the lobby and the view of the temple is unbelievable.  It is hard to explain even through images guys.

An endless expanse of jungle, and on top of one hill Borobudur in all its beauty. Plataran Resort we already love you.

Il resort è composto da 21 ville tutte con piscina privata, ciascuna con uno stile leggermente diverso, dalla più tradizionale a quello più moderno.

Una meravigliosa stanza in legno scuro intagliato e decorato, completamente immersi nello spirito indonesiano.

Riuscite a immaginarvi seduti sotto al portico fuori dalla vostra stanza a bere un caffè, circondati da piante tropicali, farfalle e il silenzio interrotto solo saltuariamente dal richiamo alla preghiera proveniente dalla moschea che rende tutto ancora più mistico?

Mà la parte più bella del Resort secondo noi è tra le stradine attorno alle ville. Al Plataran c’è un atmosfera magica.

The resort consists of 21 villas all with private pools, each with a slightly different style, from the traditional (including ours) to a more modern one.

A wonderful room with dark wood carved and decorated, fully immersed in the Indonesian spirit.

Can you imagine to sit on the porch outside your room with a cup of coffee, surrounded by tropical plants, butterflies and silence interrupted only occasionally by the call to prayer from the mosque, which makes everything around us even more mystical?

The way to appreciate the resort, is to wander through the streets around the villas. At Plataran there is a magical atmosphere.

I ristoranti sono due. Lo Stupa offre piatti locali indonesiani squisiti, mentre al Patio abbiamo trovato cucina internazionale e italiana. Bene, l’abbiamo provata, e ci stiamo chiedendo se esiste il modo di farvi assaggiare alcuni piatti attraverso il nostro blog, perchè descriverli a parole è impossibile.

There are two restaurants. The Stupa offers exquisite local Indonesian dishes, while the Patio serves Italian and international cuisine. Well, we tried it, and we’re wondering if there’s a way to let you taste some dishes through our blog, because it’s impossible describe them in words .

Ma l’resort offre molto altro. Yoga class ogni mattina, thè pomeridiano sotto alla veranda che si affaccia sulla giungla, SPA, cavalli a disposizione degli ospiti o per visitare i dintorni del Resort in carrozza.

E se volete visitare i templi di Borobudur c’è il servizio di trasporto gratuito due volte al giorno.

Mentre eravamo al Plataran ci hanno scritto dei ragazzi in Instagram, chiedendoci com’era il resort e se ne valeva la pena per soggiornare vicino ai templi. Credeteci se vi diciamo che ci torneremo sicuramente un giorno.

The resort offers even more. Yoga class every morning, afternoon tea in the veranda overlooking the jungle, SPA, horses available for guests or to enjoy the surroundings of the resort in a carriage tour.

And if you would like to visit Borobudur temples there is a free transport service twice a day.

While we were at Plataran some guys wrote us on Instagram, and they asked about the resort and if it was worth it to stay close to Borobudur temples. Trust us when we tell you that we will definitely come back one day.
