True. Absolutely true.
Entering this place out of rules and time, is an experience to do if you visit Venice.
The books, new or used, are everywhere: inside gondolas, tanks, boats and more.
You will find books of every age and every language, placed in every corner.
This place is a book sanctuary, and the books themselves creates the architecture and interiors, becoming steps or painting the walls of the small outdoor courtyards. A real pattern for eyes and heart.
Acqua Alta Bookshop can definitely be considered one of the jewels of this city. So, for us, a must see (it’s close to San Marco Square).

Vero. Assolutamente vero.
Entrare in questo posto fuori dalle regole e dal tempo è un’esperienza da fare se si visita Venezia.
I libri, nuovi o usati, sono ovunque: dentro gondole, vasche, barche e quant’altro.
Troverete libri di ogni epoca e lingua incastrati in qualsiasi angolo.
Questo posto è un santuario del libro, e sono i libri stessi a crearne l’architettura e l’arredamento, formando scalinate o colorando le pareti delle piccole corti esterne. Pattern irreali rapiscono l’occhio e il cuore.
La Libreria Acqua Alta è uno dei gioielli segreti di questa città, e quindi, secondo noi, una tappa obbligata da vedere (si trova vicino a Piazza San Marco).
Ne rimarrete sicuramente affascinati.
